Tips & Tricks
Give them a rinse
Hand wash your new MasterChef Collection pots and pans before you jump into cooking.
Hotter than you think
Use your MasterChef Collection pots and pans on low or medium heat. Ceramic holds heat better than traditional metal cookware.
Silicone tools for the win
The best option for non-stick pans is silicone utensils. Wood or plastic are also pan friendly. Never use metal tools as you risk damaging the non-stick coating.
Less is more
The incredible Fusion Guard non-stick technology means you don’t need the extra butter or oil to keep things moving. A light coating is all that is needed for your food to slide easily from the pan to the plate.
Say no way to spray
Aerosol spray oils contain a propellant that can affect non-stick coating. Use a teaspoon of traditional oil e.g., olive or corn oil, or butter.
Keep it cool
Let your pans cool completely before you wash them in cold water. Ceramic needs time to cool to ensure it doesn’t crack or warp.
Protect your pans
All MasterChef Champions Collection sets include pan protectors. These nestle between your pans to keep the pans damage-free when stacking and storing.
